The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has always been accused of not giving credit to the National Democratic Congress whenever he commissions a project which he inherited from the Mahama led administration. And this has also been the observation of many Ghanaians too.
Today, many people did not expect the President to make an appearance at the Asomdwe Park. However, Nana Addo defied all odds to be there. Also, others expected Nana Addo to make some indirect jabs at the National Democratic Congress for failing to perform their responsibility of honoring their Late Flag bearer.
However, Nana Addo shocked Ghanaians and mentioned the word, “National Democratic Congress” once in his speech. He mentioned that name whiles he was sending his condolences from his family and party to the wife of The Late Atta Mills, Ernestina Naadu Mills, his son, the National Democratic Congress and the country at large.
This move by the President has made Ghanaians to fall in love the more with him since it was a very responsible speech as compared to Koku’s.
