Former Management Member and Former National Circles Committee Chairman K5 has this morning giving an account of the crisis in Kotoko after talking to Coach Prosper Nettey Ogum.
” Dr Prosper Nettey is a calm and respectful person. l have known him several years ago before he even joined Wafa. When he speaks to others you can see his humility. He is loved by everyone in Kotoko. Coach Ogum submitted his list and report to management, he wasn’t asking for management to get him 17 new players but rather when they go in for a particular player and they do not get that player, they should go for next player on the list. The list is based on preferences but not getting all on the list. “
” Coach Ogum feels his philosophy as a coach and his goals will not be achieved with the management style. He isn’t happy how his top 5 players will be sold without his knowledge and also when they have tournament ahead of them next month. He added its either we follow the WAFA style of grooming and selling or we have to keep the players for 3 to 4 years and build a good team for Africa. “
” We the supporters are watching keenly but praying that all things are sorted out immediately. Management need to wake up and get things done right because this recent sacking of coaches isn’t the right thing. Most things said by management are not true he added. “
