Young sensational artist Black Sherif is reportedly rejected an amount of GHc97,000 offer to perform at the Ghana Party in the Park in London.
The annual event; ‘Ghana Party in the Park’ this year scheduled a lot of popular Ghanaian artists for their show of which Black Sherif was on the bill. However, he did not show up.

It has been alleged that the “Kwaku the traveler” hitmaker was absent because he rejected the offer given to him to perform at the event. According to reports, his team demands half a million for the performance of the artist.
The PRO for the Vodafone Ghana Award, Robert Klah in an interview on Hitz FM disclosed that Black Sherif was supposed to perform at the Ghana Party in the Park but the timing was not right.
“As part of the VGMA ‘Best New Artist of the Year’ package, the Ghanaian trap star was supposed to perform at the #GhanaPartyInThePar. Unfortunately, that couldn’t happen because the timing wasn’t favorable for Blacko’s tram”, he said.

However, an insider at Hitz FM has disclosed that the artist did not perform because of the huge amount of money he charged.
“According to an anonymous source [a member of the Akwaaba UK group], the group proposed an amount of £10,000 (GHS 97,786) as Black Sherif’s performance fee for the Ghana Party in the Park event. However, Blacko’s team was demanding £50,000 (GHS 489,387),” a tweet by Hitz FM said.
The allegation has since sparked a debate on social media. “Blacko Sherif’s managers are gon ruin his career real soon. Charging £50,000 (GHC489K) for a show cos of three hit songs is very very absurd. He’s not worth it. He’s gon beg to be paid GHC20K when the fame dies. Ask those who started,” Bongo Ideas tweeted.
