Professor Ransford Gyampo has reacted to the defeat of the Formers New Patriotic Party’s General Secretary’s defeat at the just ended National delegates congress.
According to the eminent Professor, winning elections does not sole depend on the amount of money one puts in. He argued that the past records of what one has achieved has much to say in winning elections.
Prof Ransford Gyampo noted that the NPP delegates are also fellow country men and women who have the ability to think and decide what is good for them.
He said via a post on Facebook “It cannot always be about money. It’s about your track record and how well you prove you can serve. The delegates are Ghanaians too and they can discern.”
It would be recalled that the 15 regional chairmen of the New Patriotic Party gave their overwhelming support to John Boadu prior to the elections. The practice was highly condemned by Prof Gyampo who called it undemocratic, lawless and infantile.
Hope his lose will speak to the politicians to play well the next time.
