Check Out Those Likely To Win NPP National Executive Elections Based On A Poll From The Presidency

The ruling Patriotic Party is scheduled to host their national executive elections tomorrow. The elections will come off at the Accra Sports stadium. The NPP seeks to break the 8 and are bent on electing the best of hands to lead the party in winning the next general elections in 2024. After the elections of the national executive this month the party will then be set to enter the final round of elections in electing a flagbearer.

Ahead of the national executives’ elections, the Presidency and National Security conducted a poll to on the likely winners of the elections. the poll results were announced by OB on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen. The survey was done in 273 constituencies excluding Akuapem North and Asante Mampong. Fifteen out of seventeen executives were interviewed for this survey. All MMDCEs were also interviewed. The research was done in April. However currently, some candidates have pulled out of the race.

Below are some of the results of the poll. For the National Treasurer Dr. Dwamena is leading with 31%. Women’s Organizer has Madam Kate Gyamfuah leading with 80%. Abdul Aziz Futah leads the Nasara Coordinator position with 56% of votes. Madam Rita Asobayie is in a tight race a she leads the First Vice Chairman race with 33%.

Interestingly for the National Youth Organizer, the undecided votes lead with 31% with Salam Mustapha in second with 30%. Henry Nana Boakye is leading with 56% to take the National Organizer role. John Boadu leads the General Secretary position with 48% and Stephen Ntim who has failed 3 times to win the Chairmanship race looks like grabbing it this time with 47%.
