A 20-year-old woman by the name of Akua has related a tale of how a 50-year-old guy got her pregnant without her being aware that he had three children, the last of whom was even older than she was.
On Wontumi Nka Wasem, a social program on Movement TV with Maame Dufie and Counselor Lutterodt, she made this startling disclosure.
“I left school at the end of sixth grade because of financial difficulties, she claimed. I gave up and started farming, earning 3 cedis every day. I met Efo, who expressed interest in me by visiting my grandmother and telling her he intended to marry me. My granny stated that without the consent of my parents, who were in Liberia, she could not consent to the marriage. I started dating Efo, and then I got pregnant. I moved in with him while I was pregnant, and that is how I found out he has three kids. While I was pregnant, he took care of the kid, but once it was born, he abandoned the child.”
She said, “He once invited me to his place so we could exchange money for the child’s upkeep, but we had sex again, and now I’m pregnant with our second child.”
Akua, who was extremely pregnant, revealed that she currently lacks a decent place to stay with her child and is homeless, sleeping outside in the cold and exposed to bugs.
But after she spoke about her experience on the show, the team stepped in, and Efo is now scheduled to appear on the program on Monday, July 18, 2022, to provide his perspective.
