The recent circulating news that has unexpectedly raised massive concerns amongst Ghanaians aside putting the supporters of the largest opposition party (NDC) in a serious dilemma was when a new online poll by a renowned finally popped up.
According to a recent survey by CDD-Ghana Afro Barometer survey, the NDC’s John Mahama was slightly ahead of the incumbent President, Akufo Addo over who Ghanaians would vote for if an election was held today.
However, it seemed the number of Ghanaians who carted their votes aside supporting the former President, John Mahama wasn’t impressive as anticipated irrespective of the current economic hardship and challenges in the country.
From the above results, we can notice that Akufo Addo had 22% whilst John Mahama had 29% of Ghanaians’ votes after the poll conducted around March and April were collated taking into consideration the same months Ghana began to experience economic hardship under the Akufo Addo government.
