In his post, the Senator reminded Nigerians of how a man named Alhaji Umaru Altine from Sokoto State became the first elected mayor of Enugu State (1952 _ 1958), which is at the heart of the southeastern part of Nigeria.
He also hinted that there was a time when a man named Chief Ike Madu, from Imo State, became a member of the Kaduna State house of assembly in 1999, and when Nnamdi Azikiwe won elections in Lagos State, which is in the southwestern part of Nigeria.
Although he did not write in detail the reasons behind his post, but most of his followers believe that he is only attempting to promote nationalism and unity among Nigerians ahead of the forthcoming 2023 presidential election.
