The fight against road accidents in this country has been a very dicey one. The Ghana Road Commission has put in place various measures to reduce the rate of road accidents but it seems nothing stops it. Just this year, the number of people who have lost their lives to these road accidents are more than 2,000.
Just this afternoon five people have been confirmed dead in a road accident which just happened on the Takoradi To Cape Cape road. This sad incident happened this afternoon.
According to reports, the driver of a commercial vehicle tried to overtake a tipper truck and unfortunately, he lost control of the steering wheel and he ended up in a bush. According to reports, five people have been confirmed dead and two have been severely injured. The five dead people have been sent to the mortuary.
