The North Tongu MP, Okudzeto Ablakwa, seems happy and vindicated after the Presidential Jet landed safely in Portugal.
Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa for some time now has been on the nerves of President Nana Akufo-Addo to use Ghana’s Presidential jet for his foreign trips. He has been speaking endlessly against hiring or renting of costly luxurious jets for Nana Akufo-Addo’s trips. He recently also challenge the Presidency saying that the jet cannot make trips outside Africa.
He quickly went to his social media handles to update his followers on the fact that Ghana’s Presidential jet was able to make a successful trip to Portugal. This definitely vindicates him.
He noted in his statement “Ghana’s Presidential Jet makes its first trip to Europe in over 13-months after govt spokespersons claimed some ghostly experts advised it shouldn’t be used for presidential trips outside Africa. It safely landed in Faro, Portugal at 12:05am after a 10:43pm transit stop in Lisbon.”
Ablakwa feel vindicated because of the recent statement from the Presidency that noted that the Presidential Jet was not for long haul travels. A statement that Hon. Okudzeto contended seriously with proof.
