The majority caucuses think the minister of finance should not be attacked in the way people are attacking him. Their reason for stating that is because the finance minster wields power in a sector that only releases funds.
According to them, the finance minister is able to release funds to other facilities where the monies need to be utilized. This is their reason for defending him and urging Ghanaians to wait for a clear submission on how their monies have been used.
The tax payer is being taken for granted each day that he is not able to defend his documents and how he spent money that belonged to the state. Even if he had no hand in the spendings that the minority caucuses are talking about, he was the person who saw to it that funds were released. This makes him a target for attacks and criticism but the majority caucuses say enough is enough.
