Former Hearts of Oak Defender, Sam Johnson, has stated that the two most glamorous clubs in Ghana’s league are always fighting for the league clinch making it difficult for other clubs.
Johnson, believes the past season was more competitive than the current season 2021/2022.
“The two of them are there fighting for the league, they always play more matches”.
“Kotoko wants Hearts to come down and take over and Hearts also wants Kotoko to come down to take over but the other ones are not like that so it makes every team that Kotoko and Hearts play tough”, he noted.
“The whole season is very interesting. Last season was more competitive than this season.
When Hearts and Kotoko are playing at the top. They are at the top, fighting for the league, it makes the league more competitive than when one is up and one is down”.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko clinched the season’s league after 8 seasons.
