Big Transfer News For Ghanaian Players.

The former Black Meteors star, Samuel Obeng impressed the club, Real Oviedo, in the just-ended season, earning him a new deal, and will now stay at the club till 2024. The Ghanaian forward’s contract was due to expire next year, but he has decided to extend it for another year. The 25-year-old has been at Oviedo since 2019, joining them from fellow Spanish side Calahorra FC. Obeng scored eight goals in 35 appearances for his club last season. He’ll be hoping to keep his spot on the team for next season.

The 20-year-old, Maxwell Woledzi has been a long-time target for the top-flight side following his heroics with the Danish club Nordsjaelland for the past two seasons. The two clubs reached an agreement on Sunday morning over the transfer terms and have reached a deal for the player to move to Guimaraes. The deal is expected to be around 400,000 euros. He will sign a permanent contract with the club if he passes the mandatory medical. He gained a late callup to play for the Black Stars during the Kirin Cup tournament.
