Ghanaians have reacted to another issue between Paul Adom Otchere and the Transport Ministry. According to the Ministry of Transport, there was no procurement nor bidding process for the award of contract in the controversial Christmas tree and decorations by the Ghana Airports Company Limited.
It could be recalled that during December, 2021, there were some Christmas decorations at the Kotoka Airport which included a very expensive Christmas tree. This tree created several reactions in the country and some suspected Paul Adom Otchere to have wasted state resources on a tree.
The Ministry revealed that the rented decorations were paid for by a sponsor and this implies that the airport incurred no cost on the 2021 Christmas decorations.
