Ghanaian legend Asamoah Gyan who months ago launched his book is set to embark on a new career path – precisely into coaching.
The country’s all-time top scorer was inactive for close to a year now due to an injury he picked while playing in the Ghana Premier League with Legon Cities FC and is set to attend a six-day training programme in Wales to obtain a certificate in coaching.
The programme, organized by the Football Association of Wales’ aims to train individuals who have a thorough knowledge of football and have taken an interest to become professional football coaches someday.
The 36-year-old per reports sighted on Ghanasoccernet.com who is planning life after football has taken interest and will fly to Wales tonight, 11th June 2022 to attend the class that will earn him the UEFA B License Certificate.

According to UEFA, the certificate teaches participants about age and ability-specific coaching techniques to develop players at the youth and senior amateur level. It also involves managing all aspects of improving individual and team performance as well as working with support staff, evaluating, analyzing and providing feedback on training and match performances.
