A music genre is a conventional category that identifies some pieces of music as belonging to a shared tradition or set of conventions. In Ghana, there are several categories of music where fans jam to most of them.

#1. Hip-hop

#5. Gospel
Speaking about gospel music in Ghana, it is quite hard to select one particular individual as the face for such genre. There are names like Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton, Florence Obinim, Ohemaa Mercy, Celestine Donkor, etc. who are all favorites and consistent. However, Antwi Hamilton has proven over the years in her gospel music career as one of the best from and most consistent in Ghana.
