The pressure group called FIX THE COUNTRY defied the Accra rains as they stepped in it to send an important message to government. They did this by fixing signage on some major deplorable roads which has become unmotorable in Accra.
The main message was to prompt President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to FIX THE ROADS.
But the NDC claimed to have fixed all roads in the capital? Well, let me shut my mouth.
With the frequent rains in Accra, most roads have become so messy. According to the group, this is hampering the smooth movement of motorists and pedestrians.
FIX THE Country Members were scheduled to hold a demonstration on the June 4th. However, an injunction secured by the Ghana Police Service stopped them.
As to whether their message will reach the appropriate authorities or not, we’re yet to know. However, many people have criticised the FIX THE COUNTRY group as doing the bidding of the opposition. This is because all the problems they’ve been talking about existed under the NDC and John Dramani Mahama’s regime. However, they pretended that all was well.
