Black Stars full list of players who have travelled to play against Central African Republic

The technical handlers of the Black Stars have pruned the squad down to 25 from 33 as they left the shores of the country to Angola to face the Central African Republic.

It will be the second game of the qualifying campaign for the 2023 Afcon. Ghana won their first game comfortably at home against Madagascar by 3 goals to nil.

A total of 8 players did not travel with the team. Below is the full squad that travelled;

Goalkeepers

Joojo Wollacott, Nurudeen Manaf, Lawrence Ati Zigi.

Defenders

Daniel Amartey, Gideon Mensah, Baba Rahman, Denis Odoi, Alidu Seidu, Abdul Mumin, Jonathan Mensah.

Midfielders

Baba Idrissu, Andre Ayew, Wakaso Mubarak, Elisha Owusu, Edmund Addo, Mohammed Kudus, Daniel Kofi Kyereh.

Wingers

Abdul Fatawu, Joseph Paintsil, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Osman Bukari.

Strikers

Jordan Ayew, Afena Gyan, Okuere Wreidt, Benjamin Tetteh.

The team is expected to travel to Japan to honor a four nation tournament afterwards.
