Following the impressive performance of Kumasi Asante Kotoko in this year’s league season that guaranteed their early victory as Champions of the Ghana Premier League for the 2021/2022 season, the Ghana Football Association has set a date for Crowning them as Champions.
Kotoko are on top of the table with 60 points with three matches yet to go. They are champion now because even if the second place team which has 50 points win all the three matches left and Kumasi Ashanti Kotoko loses all it’s three matches, they will still not be able to level up.
According to the GFA, it will be Crowning Kotoko as Champions of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League Season on Sunday 12, June 2022 when they host Elmina Sharks FC on match day 33.

The match is expected to kick off at 6pm at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Again, the GFA officials will be at the stadium to present the Trophy and medals to the club and technical team.
