Unfortunately, this is not always the case as a Ghanaian Female Nursing student threatens to break up with her boyfriend for what she described as “Heartless boyfriend.”
News cited on “Abena manokekame” page report that, a level Two Hundred (200) Nursing student receives One Thousand Ghana Cedis (Ghs1000) every month from her boyfriend and complained the amount is not enough. So she demands the guy increase it, if not anything by Ghs200. Meaning she wants Ghs1200 or more every month.
The boyfriend on the other hand said he has other things to take care of and can not increase the amount. Even though she receives money from her family, too.
“You said, your father gives you Ghs300, your brother gives you Ghs200, and I also gives you Ghs1000 every month. Please try to manage it, you know I’m still working on my house project.” – the boyfriend said.
However, this message did not go down well with the lady. She went ahead to call the guy a heartless person who don’t care about her. As if that is not enough, she is again threatening to break up should the boyfriends insists increasing the money. She explained that being a level 200 nursing student is not easy to survive with just Ghs1500 because their Allowance is not coming.
Ghanaians, social media users to be precise reacts to the news with mixed opinions. Some, blames the guy for not realizing he is in love with a lady who does not love him genuinely. While others blame the lady for fooling the guy. Perhaps she is spending the money in a different guy. Or what does she buy at school?
