The 21st century has given people more room and freedom for people to boldly express their interests and passions regardless of how strange and unusual those passions and interests may be.
The strong implementation of the human rights laws makes the aforementioned freedom possible. There are times in human history when black men were restricted and captured as slaves, and women were restricted to vote or pursue any form of formal education. These are just a few examples of the many restrictions we had in the past. Today, there are more freedoms than in any era of human existence on earth.
A recent addition to these many freedoms is a 70 year old man who has boldly expressed his love and excitement in wearing female clothes. Most especially, the clothes of his wife. It appears he doesn’t feel comfortable in men’s clothing as he does in women’s clothing. In Africa, we associate homosexuality with men who like wearing women’s clothing. Maybe we are wrong.
