“Otto Addo is The Right Man For The Black Stars Job” – Ex-Fulham United Star

Ex-Ghana right back, John Paintsil has said that Otto Addo and his Technical team are the right men for the Black Stars job.

Otto Addo named a 33-man squad ahead of the double header of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers against Madagascar and Central Africa Republic. The Stars will open camp on May 28 before facing the Malagasy at the Cape Coast Stadium on Wednesday, April 1. The second game against Central Africa Republic will the Black Stars next stop on May 5 in Angola as CAR’s national stadium has not been approved by the Confederation of African Football. The former Fulham defender believes Otto Addo, technical advisor Chis Hughton and assistants, Mas Ud Didi Dramani and George Boateng are the best men to handle the Black Stars.

“Otto Addo and his men can do it because they are working as a team and I will say that they have a fantastic group of players who listen to the pattern of team, who listen to the technical, who are tactically discipline, when I say tactically discipline, players who take instruction on the field and do the right thing, making sure that the position that they are given they are working on it. “Looking at the Technical men too, the respect among themselves, so I don’t think they will go wrong with his (Otto Addo) leadership, he has played before, he has tasted the water before and working with these young boys, I think he is giving his experience to them.

“He (Otto Addo) knows how to win matches looking at what he did with Nigeria in both home and away match, I mean going to Nigeria to lock them up not to even do anything not to even attempt to put the ball at the back of our net. “That shows that he is doing very well on his boys, his technical men and himself.” John Paintsil told Radio Gold TalkSport.
