Hearts of Oak striker Kofi Kordzi has been banned from the first team as a result of what the club termed a breach of contract. He was left out of the team entirely for their MTN FA cup semifinal clash against Dreams FC. Seeing that he won’t be involved in the game in anyway, he decided to go and participate in a Ramadan Cup match which wasn’t sanctioned by the club.
In as much as I won’t condone what Kordzi has done, the club hasn’t been fair to him. It is not as if he was injured or something. He hasn’t been involved much for the Phobians this season. Kordzi has scored 7 goals for Hearts of Oak this season. I can’t pinpoint why Samuel Boadu hasn’t been giving him a run in the team. But I believe it is performance-based. I believe that he is a good striker with all the physical attributes. Boadu is best placed to milk the best out of him. Let’s see what lies ahead.
