“We Are Not Giving up on Top Four Finish” – Former Black Stars Coach

Head coach of Legon Cities FC, Maxwell Konadu is not giving up on the club’s top four finish at the end of the season.

The Royals lost 1-0 against Accra Lions in week 28 in Accra to delay their ascent on the league log. They sit 8th on the league table with 39 points after 28 matches. “I think it [defeat to Accra Lions] will delay our climb on the ladder but we can still make it to the top four. “We can make, it’s very very possible, we have six games to play. “We just have to go and win the other games which is possible.

“We have been playing so well away and now we are coming to play at home so we still think we are on course,” Maxwell Konadu told StarTimes. “We just wanted to equalize and see what we can do but the equalizer couldn’t just happen so that is what is painful. “We should have equalized and snatch the match winner but it didn’t happen .

“Like I said all is not lost, we are still on course, top four is still possible for us.” Maxwell Konadu Added. They are six points out of the top four but Maxwell Konadu remains confident they can finish in top four at the end of the season.
