Ghana is a country which is well known across the globe and it’s international presence is felt nearly every where.
Not only the country is blessed with peace and stability, the country is also blessed with an abundance of natural resources, the country has large amounts of oil and gas, gold, cocoa, timber, industrial diamonds, bauxite, manganese, fish, rubber, hydropower, silver, salt and limestone.
Ghana is really making great strides and can boast of an advanced infrastructure platform when compared with other low – income countries in Africa. The country’s coverage levels for rural water, electricity, and GSM signals are impressive. A large share of the road network is in good or fair condition. Not much exposure is given to how spectacular Ghana is, hence I have selected some well known scenery to depict the Ghana we don’t normally see on television.

It is estimated that the country already spends about $1.2 billion per year on infrastructure, equivalent to about 7.5 percent of GDP. It will need to focus on upgrading its infrastructure indicators in line with this benchmark. Given some time Ghana is sure on its way to reaching middle – income status.
