Today’s discussion on the Good Morning Ghana show on Metro Tv was captivating and feisty at it witnessed two vociferous Ghanaian personalities seated with the host, Annie Afua Ampofo. The discussion hosted Kwesi Pratt, who is editor of insight newspaper, and Eric Amoako Twum, Government’s spokesperson.
Persons in the Convention Peoples Party were exposed for taking money from the New Patriotic Party to organise and contest elections for themselves. This issue sparked massive stir, debates and arguments among Ghanaians across all social media platforms.
Whiles reacting to the issue, Kwesi Pratt noted with concerns that, the actions from some members in the Convention Peoples Party was so embarrassing. According to him, there are some internal issues going on in the party which must be solved.
He added,” if you come to think of the fact that the main problem is that, in the last elections, some Party leaders actually took money from the New Patriotic Party to organise elections. How do you take money from the New Patriotic Party to contest elections against the New Patriotic Party and hope to beat the New Patriotic Party? This simply does not make any sense at all”.
