Ghanaian comedienne and entrepreneur, Afia Schwarzenegger has called on President Akufo-Addo to tax churches.
Speaking in a video sighted on her Instagram page, she said the president of Ghana should start taxing churches after introducing E-levy.
According to her, government has refused to tax churches that’s why men of God fight on social media instead of preaching the word of God, this is because they don’t have any responsibility.
Afia Schwarzenegger further stated that the church is making money and as a member of Winners Chapter, her church makes a lot of money from books and CDs.
She explained that Winners Chapel makes money from selling books and CDs.
“It’s time for you to tax the churches. They need to pay taxes, they need to be responsible, so that you can limit one-man-church and the foolishness,” she said.
Afia Schwarzenegger thanked President Akufo-Addo and also reminded him over her father’s funeral donation.
