A viral video has surfaced online purporting to show a Nigerian player being presented with a loaf of bread and yogurt for winning Man of the Match.
After a domestic Nigerian League game, the player was given a loaf of bread and a bottle of yogurt as a treat.
Surprisingly, the bread was branded with the words “Man of the Match” and a league emblem.
The footballer, whose name was not revealed, is shown in the photo standing with his prize while sporting a half-smile.
