The President for Central Regional House of Chiefs who is also the Paramount Chief For Breman Traditional Area, ‘Odeefour’ Amoakwa Boadu VIII has advised parents and guardians to play their 70% role in their children’s education to help better their future and of the country.
According to ‘Odeefour’ Amoakwa Boadu, most parents and guardians think that, teachers are the only stakeholders for their children’s education and therefore they allow their childrens throw their books somewhere and play untill the next school hours or day.
The aforementioned Central Regional House of Chiefs President made this to the public when the Ghana’s Spelling Bee World Champion, ‘Master’ Angel Kwame Ankamah Arhin, the University of Cape Coast JHS one pupil went to present his victory cup to the House of Chiefs at their meeting in Cape Coast.
The president of the house then encouraged school children across the country to emulate the young star to raise the flag of Ghana high. On behalf of the house, he donated Ghs 2,000.00 to the young star for his next comptition which is to come off in the United Kingdom (UK).
‘Ogyeahoho’ Yaw Gyebi II, who is the Paramount Chief for Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area encouraged the 11-year-old champion, Angel to do more and also advised him not to be selective on the subjects but to master and concentrate on all to make him the best among his competitors.
He then urged every individual to support brilliant but needy students to achieve their goals. ‘Odeefour Ogyeahoho’ Yaw Gyebi II also donated Ghs 1,000.00 to Angel in support of his journey to UK for another comptition.
