E/R: 10-year-old boy killed in Abetifi accident

Emmanuel Atta Serebour, a 10-year-old kid from Kwahu-Abetifi in the Eastern Region, was killed in an accident.

The accident was one of two that occurred in the Kwahu area on Sunday, April 17th, 2022.

The other collision happened on the Atibie-Nkawkaw highway.

In the accident in Abetifi, the driver of a Hyundai Creta Salon vehicle went off the road.

The truck collided with a metal container shop off to the side of the road.

Six people, ranging in age from four to twenty-four, were also hurt.

They were flown to the Abetifi Health Centre in a hurry.

The Atibie accident injured eight passengers aboard a VW minibus, who were taken to the Holy Family Hospital in Nkawkaw.

The eight were among a group of 20 passengers in a VW bus traveling from Kwahu Atibie to Nkawkaw.

While descending a hill, the vehicle skidded off the side of the road in a steep turn.
