The Only Ghanaian Mother Whose Son Was An MP, A Minister, A Vice President And A President Of Ghana

It is the dream of every mother to see his son or her daughter prosper in life. For this reason, most mothers pull up all their resources so that this dream comes into reality.

In Ghana, one of the most successful women is Abiba Nnaba. She gave birth to a son who became a member of Parliament, a minister of state, a vice president and a president of the republic of Ghana as well.

John Dramani Mahama is the son of Abiba Nnaba. We can all testify that John Mahama was a president of Ghana from 2011 to 2016. He was also a vice president from 2009 to 2011 under John Evans Atta Mills’ presidency. He was also a member of Parliament from 1997 to 2009 and the Minister of communications from 1998 to 2001.

Abiba Nnaba had a good influence on his son. She died on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. She was 85 years old. As a devout Muslim, she was buried in her hometown Busunu in the West Gonja District of the Northern Region on June 17 in line with Islamic tradition
