The past couple of days has been depressing for the people of Ukraine after the Russian armies started attacking on them, people have been dying and the entire world is up on its feet trying to remedy the situation before many more lives are lost during war that is currently taking place between Russia and Ukraine. We have been reading about what is happening and there is fear that what is happening between the two countries might escalate into world wolar three something we don’t want to see in this life time.
There has been a serious concern in South Africa with the country worried about two of its citizens who were strunded in Ukraine and could not find their way out of the war zone, but the prayers of the entire South Africa has been answered since the two ladies who were stuck in Ukraine have finally made it out and are safe in Poland. The two ladies have posted a video on social media where they are expressing gratitude and excitement, thanking all those who were concerned about their safety while they are in the country that is being torn apart.
The two young ladies said they were happy to have finally managed to cross over to Poland and arrived across the border safe and sound, they said in their own voice that they are excited to have crissed over and the only thing they have in their minds is to go home and be re-united with their families.
“We would like to thank everybody who had helped us get through, everybody who is trying with luck we got through, but it was not easy guys,” the other lady said before the other one joined in and they said thank you together in one voice.
“Thank you so much, we’re just excited to have crossed and we are now safe, now the next step they say is to travel back home to South Africa, we actually can’t wait to be on South African ground and be with our families, tha k you to every one for constantly checking on us, thank you to the minister, the ambassadors everywhere, thank you,” they said.
