Over the past couple of years some major brands have faced a lot of criticism over their marketing campaign, being viewed as racist by the public, due to something that they over saw or over looked, but instantly caught the publics eye.
When this happens all these brands pulls that campaign and apologies to the public, but sometimes that is just not enough as some people attack their stores and damage their products, and vandalize their properties. This time Lacoste is the one facing public scrutiny over a new campaign they posted online promoting their brand.
In the picture they posted a white person is wearing a Lacoste Sneaker, and stepping on the shoulders of a black guy. There is nothing significant about this, or there is no indication that this was meant to be racist or to stir up tensions between different races around the world, but social media being the place it is, it will always try to start something from nothing.
