Julius Sello Malema is a South African politician and activist who is a Member of Parliament and the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Economic Freedom Fighters, a South African political party, which he founded in July 2013.
Julius Malema is the leader of a party that is in opposition with the country’s leading party called the African National Congress (ANC). Not so long he ordered people to occupy land in Johannesburg and those people woke up to floods of water. That was because the land which they occupied showed routes of water, it was easy for someone to see that it was a river that has gone dry, so when the heavy rains took place in Soweto, all the shacks built there were damaged and people were standing on top of their roofs.
Yesterday as he is addressing at the SiyabongaRally, he has again instructed residents of ward 3 at Ga-Taueatsoala village in Steilloop to occupy land for 48 hours in order to gain land ownership. Hw has said that no one will remove them from the land and should there be any need, advocate Dali Mpofu will defend land occupations in a court of law. He told people that should they reach 48 hours, it will be illegal for them to be removed or evicted from the land. He promised residents that his party will provide access to basic needs such as water, electricity and roads.
This really shows that Julius Malema and his party members are tired of the ruling ANC which is failing to claim back the land of black people which was wrongfully inherited by the white.
Malwma is also not happy with the ruling party because he says it makes promises it never keeps. He 8s angered mostly by the promise of job creation that has never been rendered. He once told the leading party that the time will come when it will be voted out and he shall take over.
