Positive Corona virus cases seem to be on on a slight rise in South Africa. On Saturday the 26th of February 2022 a total of 2 320 new cases were recorded.
This was a slight increase compared to the total of 2 111 cases on Friday the 25th of February 2022.

The number of deaths however has drastically decreased from a total of 127 deaths to a total of 46 deaths recorded on Saturday the 26th of February.
From the very beginning that coronavirus began, the numbers had always fluctuated and it is believed that the fluctuations are caused by different factors.
Generally in most countries because of the vaccination that was introduced many countries have witnessed a decrease in the average number of cases recorded.
The government still urging citizens of the country to get vaccinated in order to provide a form of protection against the virus.
