The crisis is becoming more serious than expected and this time it’s now a case of intercontinental concerns as major nations around the world are finding ways in order to support Ukraine and manage the impending war.
But this has led the Russian embassy to give Mzansi a stern warning yesterday after Ramaphosa stated he’d call Vladamir Putin and Biden to talk them down on the crisis.
The Russian embassy in a comment made on Ramaphosa’s tweet said;
“With all due respect Mr President, do not dare interfere otherwise there will be serious consequences.”
This came in response to South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, who said he’d be calling President Vladimir Putin and the United States government to seek a for the end to this bloodshed, not forgetting NATO. In his words;
“We’re on the way to speak Russia and we will also speak with the United States and NATO”
However it seems as though the call didn’t go as planned as it has been confirmed that over 28 countries USA and UK have pledged to support Ukraine with Ammunitions.
Moreso, it’s has been spotted that hundreds of South African soldiers are allegedly at the airport for deployment to go support Ukraine in the war against Russian.
The picture shared by twitter user, Bongiwa Indlovukazi has got many talking as some are hoping that it’s just medics that are going and not Fighters so Russia doesn’t attack us. Others are saying black soldiers can win the war, here are some reactions below;
“Doesn’t SANDF have it’s own military Base Airport or something. Why are they in a public airport.”
“Doesnt the military have it’s own aircrafts?”
“so we don’t have our own military plane ? M..
We should definitely leave the war alone.
