As reported by The Sahara Reporters Newspaper Online yesterday evening, Russia has threatened two other nations that if they do not join NATO, military and political action will be done against them, according to the news.
As a result of this new development, it has come to light that Russia has threatened Finland and Sweden, according to information supplied by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova, who has cautioned the two nations against becoming members of NATO.
Specifically, she stated that Finland and Sweden should not rely their security on undermining the security of other nations, and that their entrance to NATO could have grave implications, military and political actions.
According to a later tweet from the ministry, it has been made known that Finland and Sweden have been providing considerable military and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine since Russian forces entered the country on Thursday.
It was also revealed that Ukraine, which had previously been enthusiastic about joining NATO, is now open to consider a new status with the alliance following the deaths of some of its residents by Russian soldiers.
