Water and electricity reconnected by City of Johannesburg at a prison

As part of disconnecting services from non-paying clients , the Johannesburg Prson was one of those institutions that had water and electricity disconnected . Singabakho Nxumalo , who is the spokesperson for the Correctional Services reportedly dismissed the claims that the facility owed the City of Johannesburg that amount . He however alleged that the correctional service was not behind in terms of payments .

He went on and said that they had made the payment that was owed to the City of Johannesburg , hence the reconnections of of the services .He confirmed that the reconnections were conducted on the same day as they had been disconnected by the power utility .
