Breaking| Top South African Minister ‘Steps Down’ From Cabinet

The Presidency affirmed the choice to end Sitole’s agreement prior was a common choice and to SA’s greatest advantage.

Public Police Commissioner Khehla Sitole has surrendered and will serve his keep going day on 31 March.

The Presidency affirmed that Sitole’s initial end of his agreement term was by shared understanding.

“President Ramaphosa and General Sitole have concurred that the early end of the Commissioner’s agreement is to the greatest advantage of the nation,” said the Presidency in an articulation.

“The time until General Sitole’s flight will empower an appropriate handover of different undertakings, every continuous examination, to one of the senior individuals from the group at the Saps that had been helping General Sitole”

President Ramaphosa said: “I’m thankful to General Sitole for the productive conversations we have had over the end of his situation as National Commissioner.

“I wish to pass my appreciation on to General Sitole for his support of the country over numerous years in the Saps. I hope everything works out for him in his future undertakings.”

 A declaration will be made at the appropriate time on filling the place of Saps National Commissioner following General Sitole’s takeoff.
