Our president’s address to the country has become a hit with Covid 19. While he’s done it before, it’s grown rare in recent months. So, when is President Cyril Ramaphosa going to speak to the nation again, and what will he say? Here’s my take on the situation.

When is it:

While we have recently past the fourth wave of Covid 19, there has been word that a fifth wave is on the way. The fifth wave is expected to arrive in three months. That would be around the end of April.

I expect the president to address the nation again either before or during the fifth wave. Here’s what he may say.

Points to Discuss:

There’s a good likelihood that the president will warn us about the impending wave’s impacts as well as update us on the latest advancements and research into the Covid 19 Pandemic. He might also try to persuade us to get vaccinated before the fifth wave arrives.

He’s done all of this before, so it’s not a stretch to imagine he’ll do it again. Other situations, on the other hand, may require the President’s attention.

Unexpected Happenings.

There’s also a significant likelihood that the president will speak to us if a new strain of the virus is discovered or if infection rates begin to climb again. We won’t know for certain when he’ll talk until it’s announced on the news. Until then, I urge South Africans to be vigilant and follow all safety precautions.
