Background
It is almost two years of South Africa being under the coronavirus lockdown. What started as just 21 days of the lockdown has turned into a very long and stressful thing. For the past few months, the country has been under level one which has made the lockdown almost seem non-existent but it is only when the lockdown finally comes to an end that South Africans will truly remember what freedom feels like and the Health minister might just give them that.
Background
It has been revealed by the health minister of South Africa that the government is now very close into finalizing the ending of the lockdown. He says what was once just a thought has become a full on discussion between the government and a full on research on the consequence of this action.
The minister of health stated that at the current moment the virus is not as contagious as before which gives the country a chance to totally get rid of the lockdown. This has been a long time coming since the president announced the intentions to end the state of disaster. This announcement from the health minister could mean that in the next month or so South Africa could free again.
Opinion
It is now fully evident that South Africa who is about to gain its freedom back. The main issue now is whether or not life is going to go back to normal. So many of the people have gotten used to the life of so many restrictions that they might not know how to live normal lives again. What will happen though is that businesses will try once again as customers who freely move around.
