With such a high number of unemployed people in South Africa, many people have learned to wait and apply for their dream jobs while they take contract jobs, interns and some part time jobs.
And from the time the government introduced the new contract post for educator assistants and general school assistants it has helped many people financially though the jobs have only been for a period of less than 6 months.
So far there has not been any news or hint about the extension of the current contract of educator and general school assistants that began last year in Novemeber 2021, Does this mean that the contracts are really coming to an end ?
As much as the jobs have been such a blessing to unemployed people, the schools have surely benefited greatly by having such assistants as many schools did not even have any general workers that can do most of the work, like repairing of things, helping within some admistrations and many other things.
The contracts will be ending soon in the Month of much, and for some it will be hard to survive financially, so feel free to add some hustles and other part time jobs tha many other unemployed people can do as they continue to job hunt.
What do you think the government can do to help all these young unemployed people who are just sitting at their homes and struggling financially ?
