SH0CKING| Road Users Try Running Over School Students After Blocking The Road

Everyone in South Africa has the right to protest however there are boundaries that should not be crossed when protesting. For example, lst year in the July protests where South Africans were protesting and looting shops demanding that former President Jacob Zuma be released was unlawful. There is absolutely no connection between looting shops and saying that it’s all in the name of Jacob Zuma. The funny thing is that there were no protests outside of where Jacob Zuma was being held.

A similar situation is now taking place in a small town In the Eastern Cape. The N10 going to Johannesburg has been closed by parents and children of a Sandulsilwazi high school in Paterson. This in protest against the lack of teachers, classrooms and books at the only high school. Unfortunately scenes turned violent today as road users got impatient and tried to run kids down.

It’s understandable why road users tried to do what they did. Students can’t be blocking highways and then talk about education, there is no correlation between the two. If they have complaints about their school they should go to Angie Motshekga and raise their concerns at her and stop being a nuisance.
