South Africans reacted very differently to the shootout that happened in Rosettenville, Johannesburg.
Many people on social media cursed Zimbabweans for the heist. That also blamed them for the high crime rate in South Africa.
But the master mind of the heist was not a Zimbabwean. Very few has been said about this as much attention has been about the Zimbabweans.
According to the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) spokesperson Grace Langa, the man is dubbed a CIT mastermind and has been arrested after months of evading arrest.
“The suspect from Botswana is a mastermind in cash-in-transits in South Africa. He is a wanted criminal for a long time, and finally, they managed to arrest him,” Langa alleged.
IPID has been thrust in the spotlight as the luckiest are now investigating the case.
That is because police were involved in a shootout with civilians.
There were more than 100 bullets that were found on the scene of the accident.
