WOLVES VS MANCHESTER UNITED
Following a routine 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest, Manchester United will look to climb to the Champions League places when they face Wolverhampton on Matchday 18. The Red Devils are after their third consecutive league win, but beating the Wolves at Molineux Stadium is easier said than done. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be Marcus Rashford, who impressed in the last league match, while pacey winger Sancho remains in the treatment room.
Both Dalot and Martinez are rated doubtful for Saturday’s clash. Julen Lopetegui’s troops, on the other hand, defeated Everton on Boxing Day thanks to Ait Nouri’s late goal to regain a much-needed confidence. Wolverhampton, though, are on a three-game losing run at home, which is probably the main reason why away win should be considered. All Chiquinho, Kalajdzic, and Neto remain on the sidelines with injuries, but both Traore and Jonny should be fit for the match.
Prediction:both teams to score.
There will be fireworks when Barcelona and Espanyol square off against each other at Camp Nou in the Catalan derby. Barca are eager to retain top position in the standings, and you should know that Raphinha and Co. are eyeing their sixth consecutive league win. Robert Lewandowski is banned for the match, while all Depay, Araujo, Kessie, Kounde, and Sergi Roberto are back to contention after missing the Osasuna game before the World Cup break.
In Lewa’s absence, Ferran Torres should lead the line for the home side. The visitors, on the other hand, head into the match following the Copa del Rey win over Atletico Paso, but given their anything but brilliant away record in La Liga, we are tempted to put our money on the Lewandowski-less hosts. As for the away side, Leandro Cabrera is back from suspension, but Dani Gomez will have to serve his ban in the local derby. Midfielder Keidi Bare remains in the treatment room.
Prediction: Barcelona to win the match.
