European Club Set To Move For Ghanaian Defender

After a stellar performance for the Black Stars at the just ended FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar, Ghana’s defender Mohammed Salisu has become a center of attraction for many big clubs across Europe.

According to transfer news reported early this morning, French club Olympic Marseille are currently monitoring and evaluating a bid for the Ghanaian defender.

Mohammed Salisu had previously refused to play for the Black Stars despite being called up to the squad several times. The player finally made the commitment to play for the Black Stars and has been one of the players who have impressed the most.

Salisu is currently contracted to Southampton and it could take a fee in the region of 50 million pounds to force the club into selling their most prized asset.

Salisu cut short his break after the early elimination of the Black Stars and returned to training with his club. The player also featured for Southampton in their Carabao Cup win against Lincoln city.
