Hearts of Oak Extend Contract of Two Key Players

Accra Hearts of Oak have set out to tie down most of their key players before they have a change of mind.

Accra Hearts of Oak have dispensed with the services of some players who they deemed as surplus to requirement for the club.

The Phobians have intensified their preparations ahead of the resumption of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.

The Phobians started the current Ghana Premier League season on a very poor note after collecting just two points from their three opening league games of the season.

The 21 time champions are aiming to reclaim the league title after losing it to their arch rivals, Asante Kotoko last season.

The Phobians however won the FA Cup for the second time running but that notwithstanding, they sacked their then head coach, Samuel Boadu.

Samuel Boadu however remains one of the best coaches to have graced the club after winning five trophies in his two and a half year period.

The Phobians have tied down goalkeeper Richmond Ayi and rugged midfielder, Abdul Aziz Nurudeen who has returned from South Africa after a successful surgery.
