Breaking: Hearts of Oak Set to Grab Asante Kotoko Top Defender

Accra Hearts of Oak are set to snap up Asante Kotoko defender to bolster their squad in January for the ongoing league season.

The Phobians started the current campaign on a bad note after collecting just two points from their three opening games of the season.

Those poor results were achieved under former coach, Samuel Boadu who has since left the club on mutual grounds and about taking up the Ghana U-20 head coaching job.

Despite Samuel Boadu being sacked, he remains one of the best coaches to have ever handled the club having five trophies in his two and half year’s stay with the club.

Hearts of Oak brought in Serbian trainer, Slavko Matic to replace Samuel Boadu and he has since transformed the club into a winsome side.

The league will resume on December 19 across various venues but the Phobians are looking grab Christopher Nettey of Asante who is about leaving the club due to the expiry of his contract.
