Black Galaxies is willing to face the newly motivated Hearts of Oak team

Accra Hearts of Oak’s head coach, Slavko Matic, in close consultation with the management of the club has given his players and backroom staff a one week break. The break started soon after last Sunday’s league game against Dreams F/C and they are expected to get back to training next week Monday, 28th November, 2022.

The team is back and strong to resume competitive friendly matches with their counterparts in Black Galaxies camp.

The Black Galaxies of Ghana will play against Accra Hearts of Oak in friendly as part of preparations for the 2023 CHAN tournament in Algeria.

The game will take place on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Coach Annor Walker and his boys are already in camp preparing ahead of the tournament which kicks off in January.

Afriyie Barnieh (Hearts of Oak) and Ibrahim Danlad (Asante Kotoko) who were in the camp of the Black Stars for the World Cup in Qatar will join the team before Sunday after Ghana’s early exit.

Hearts of Oak are expected to give the Black Galaxies a tough competition as they prepare to face Morocco, Madagascar and Sudan in Group C.

The 2014 finalists will be making a return to the tournament after missing the last three editions and will hope to make a mark.

The tournament kicks off January 13, 2022 in Algeria.
