Head coach of the Black Stars Otto Addo, says that the team will not disappoint Ghanaians at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. He is optimistic about his team’s chances of progressing from Group H.
Speaking at a meeting during a visit by Dr Patrice Mostepe(President of the Confederation of African Football) on Wednesday, he reiterated that they do not take Dr Patrice’s visit for granted. His visit has inspired the players and the team.
“I can assure you that they are working hard on and off the pitch, so I am very sure that we won’t disappoint our nation and Africa Ghana has shown in the past that they can compete at the highest level. When I see their training and look at how they played in recent games, I strongly believe that we can do some miracles.”
He continued to say that as an African country, they know it is not only for Ghana but for the entire continent. They will represent the continent and assure him(Dr Patrice) that they will do it.
Ghana will play Portugal as their opener for the 2022 World Cup tournament today, November 24, 2022, at 4 PM.
